Prof. Lior Zangi
Founder & Principal Investigator
Lior Zangi is an internationally recognized pioneer in mRNA-based regenerative medicine whose work has helped shape the development of therapeutic mRNA technologies. Among the first scientists to demonstrate successful delivery of modified mRNA into cardiac and skeletal muscle, his research established a new paradigm for using mRNA to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration.
As Founder and Principal Investigator of NovoVessel, Lior leads the scientific vision behind the company's next-generation mRNA technologies and regenerative medicine programs. His work focuses on advancing therapies designed to restore biological function, regenerate damaged tissues, and unlock the full therapeutic potential of mRNA.
Tamar Grossman, PhD
Strategic Advisor
Tamar Grossman is a biotechnology executive and RNA therapeutics leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing innovative medicines from discovery through development. Her expertise spans mRNA, saRNA, siRNA, antisense oligonucleotides, gene editing, and advanced delivery technologies.
Throughout her career, Tamar has held senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Arcturus Therapeutics, and Ionis Pharmaceuticals, helping guide RNA-based therapies from concept toward clinical development. As a Strategic Advisor to NovoVessel, she provides expertise in therapeutic development, translational strategy, partnering, and the advancement of next-generation RNA medicines.

Shilo Ben Zeev is a serial entrepreneur and healthcare innovator with more than two decades of experience building transformative companies across biotechnology, digital health, and life sciences. Throughout his career, he has raised over $100 million and founded or helped build multiple successful ventures, including DarioHealth, Emendo Biotherapeutics, Smartzyme Biopharma, and MyBiotics.
As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NovoVessel, Shilo leads the company's vision, strategy, and growth. He is focused on advancing breakthrough mRNA technologies and regenerative medicine solutions that have the potential to address serious diseases by restoring biological function rather than simply managing symptoms.
Ofer Azoulay
Chief Operating Officer
Ofer Azoulay is a technology entrepreneur, operator, and business leader with extensive experience building and scaling organizations across healthcare, biotechnology, manufacturing, and technology sectors. Throughout his career, he has helped transform innovative concepts into operationally successful businesses by combining strategic vision with disciplined execution.
As Chief Operating Officer of NovoVessel, Ofer leads company operations, business development, strategic partnerships, fundraising support, and organizational execution. He works closely with the scientific and executive leadership teams to translate breakthrough mRNA technologies into a scalable company positioned to advance transformative therapies and create long-term value.
